Debut author of Nine Lives, Carly Huss, lives half her life in Lewisville, Texas and the other half in fantasy land. She’s been known for telling stories since she could string sentences together, but it wasn’t until she developed a love for fiction that her stories morphed into tales and eventually novels. Now she uses writing as therapy—taking her fears, insecurities, and dreams and giving them to characters who can tackle them for her. She can’t grasp how everyone doesn’t do it.

She is the leader and founder of North Texas Writers, a critique group made of writers who are passionate about helping each other become authors. She writes Young Adult and Adult novels, often with a touch of sci-fi/fantasy, always with a handful of kissing.

As someone who has struggled with self-image her entire life, Carly wrote Nine Lives for the girls who wish for a new a body every minute of every day. To you, girls, you are beautiful just the way you are.

Her first novel, Nine Lives, Book One of the Nine Lives Novels, will be released in December 2019.
